Kids Classes Coming Up!
Did you know that Paula Phillips, one of our incredible teachers at the Scrapbook Pad, offers a monthly class for children ages 7 and up? Her adorable projects provide kids the opportunity to get involved with scrapbooking and paper crafting. And the great part is... you don't even have to clean up after them! Check out this month's kid's class on Sunday, October 14th from 2 - 4 pm. This month the kids will be making a great Halloween Goodie bag which they can use to keep all their Trick-or-Treating loot together on the night of fright. We've added Lynne Faulknor's Basic Grey Accordion Pull-Out Mini book to satisfy all of you who go nuts whenever a new release comes out! This class features the new Basic Grey line: Periphery. You will use Basic Grey rubons, papers, chipboard, ribbon and more to make this 8 page accordion book that fits neatly into the decorated tin. Tuesday October 16, 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Class fee of $15 is due on signup.
Donna Young has also added three monthly classes to help you get going on your themed albums. For the pet lover in you, Donna's Pawsitively Perfect Pet class is exactly that! Though the sample shows a two page dog layout, you can also substitute cat pages. This class is offered Wednesday, October 17, 6:30 -8:30 pm. Class fee of $15 is due on sign up; please specify dog or cat pages. Stay tuned in November to check out Donna's new layouts for her other themed classes: Glamour Girls for all of your girly, feminine photos, and Boys Will Be Boys which will certainly relieve some mothers out there who struggle to come up with masculine ideas.
