That's right, our next Garage Sale is approaching fast and it's time to take sign ups! Our lottery system worked so well last time that we are bringing it back again. If you would like to be a seller, simply come in or call to enter your name in our lottery drawing before Sunday, October 7th. The first 10 names drawn from the jar on October 8th will win a spot in the garage sale! This garage sale will take place Saturday November 3rd from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. If you win the lottery, you will have 48 hours to respond and pay your table fee. It's World Card Making Day! And we're offering a one-time only incredible class featuring FIVE separate designers and more than five cards! It's Cardapalooza! In typical Scrapbook Pad style, we're branching out and trying something new... this class will be taught Round-Robin style with rotations occurring every 30 minutes. At the end of the class, you will have built skills in many different areas including iris folding, using transparencies, making flip cards, incorporating digital aspects, and more! Sign up for this class taking place on October 6th 10:30 am - 1:00 pm. Class fee of $25 is due on signup.
The Year of Cards Crop
We still have spaces available in our "Year of Cards Crop." This crop celebrates World Card Making Day on Saturday, October 6th from 3:00 pm - 12:00 am. Those attending will receive all of our regular crop benefits, but they will also receive a special snack, three extra hours of cropping, and a "Year of Cards" kit featuring 12 different cards. Cards included in the kit fit into the following categories: birthday, love, baby, Mother's Day, Father's Day, patriotic, wedding, thank you, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and congratulations. And the great thing is that you can make the cards that night or you can do your own thing and enjoy the card kit at another time! Sketches are included. Fee: $15 due at signup.Cards for a Cause
We've already begun, but you can still get in on the action of this great contest! In honor of World Card Making Day we're asking you to donate handmade cards which will then be donated to three organizations. For each A2 sized (4.25 in. x 5.5 in.) card you donate, you will receive one entry into our drawing for a card making kit valued at over $100.
