Didn't get signed up for our Scrap Pink Overnight Crop?? Not to worry. You can still participate in a couple of ways!
- Make a tax deductible donation at any cash register at the Scrapbook Pad. These donations will be added to our proceeds from the crop and be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Be a part of "the cure"!
- Bring in a layout right away featuring a special woman in your life. Let us display your work on our "tribute wall" and be a part of honoring these special women during the month of October - Breast Cancer Awareness month!
Inspiration Corner: My goodness - it's already Labor Day! Get inspired this week and create a layout about your job. Include a picture of your place of employment or a photo of you "on the job". What do you love about your job? Do you have special co-workers or a boss you can write about? What would you change about your job? Bring your layout by the Scrapbook Pad, show one of our associates, and we'll reward you with a "You've Been Inspired" coupon!
World Card Making Day
Do you just LOVE creating greeting cards?? If so, clear your calendar for Saturday, October 6th - World Card Making Day! We've planned a full day of card-making events sure to please the most die-hard card makers! Planned events include:Cards for a Cause: Donate an A2 sized card in exchange for an entry into a Card Kit Drawing. Donated cards will be sent to a variety of community groups and the winning entry will win a prize package valued at $100!
Cardapalooza!: This card making class features the card-making talents of FIVE of our very talented teachers. This $25 class commencing at 10:30 and ending at 1:00 continues in round robin fashion with rotations to each card making station. The result? Five beautiful and uniquely designed cards.
Year of Cards Crop: This $15 crop begins at 3 pm and goes until midnight! Each attendee receives a "Year of Cards" package complete with instructions and materials to create 12 cards (one for each month of the year)! Work on whatever you like during this crop but receive this special card kit in honor of this special day!
Sign ups and complete details for this crazy, card-making event are forthcoming, so mark your calendar for this fun and worthwhile day of card creations at the Scrapbook Pad! **Crop room will be closed to activities other than World Card Making events for this entire day.
