Last Weekend was the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) vendor show! We dashed up to Chicago to take a look at all of the awesome product being released by vendors like Basic Grey, Creative Imaginations, SEI, Reminisce, Making Memories, KI Memories, and more! And let's just say that our hands are cramped from writing all those orders! Technique Tuesday launched their Tuesday's Child Program with new products benefiting autism research. When you purchase either the Pieces of the Puzzle word stamp or the FUNdamental Pieces Tiles, Technique Tuesday makes a donation to Autism Speaks. Not familiar with the Technique Tuesday Tiles? ...of our Leukemia Benefit Crop?

The Scrapbook Pad and Team in Training are banding together to find a cure for leukemia. This crop will take the place of our late night crop on Saturday, August 18 from 6pm - midnight. Not only will you receive dinner, drinks, and snacks, but we'll also do giveaways every hour until midnight! It gets even better: your FULL crop fee of $20 goes directly to the Team In Training program to benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society!

Donna Downey, author of the "Yes! It's A Scrapbook" series will be joining us August 10 - 11 for two full days of classes. Check out these two projects that she'll be teaching to you here at the Pad. The first class, Work of Art, is exactly that! If you've ever wanted to create something beautiful for your home décor, or if you just want to know how to use your scrapbooking skills on canvas, this class is for you! Donna uses mixed media on canvas to create a project that will teach you about design, texture, shape, and more. Work of Art takes place Friday, August 10, 9 am - 12 pm. $60

Or, if canvas isn't quite your thing, try Donna's File Album class. It's photo storage OR a mini album-you choose! This adorable file album is sure to get you thinking out of the box!
