Hot Opportunity: Easter Bunny Photos!

We have had so many people who want to make reservations for bunny photos that we are extending the hours! WildRescue/ Rabbit Rescue and Silver Star Pictures will be bringing live Easter bunnies to the Scrapbook Pad this Saturday, March 22nd from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm. Packages start at $25 for 1-5x7, 2-3.5x5, and 4 wallets of one pose which will be printed on site. For each pose sold, a portion of the fee will be donated to the care, love and feeding of abandoned bunnies cared for by WildRescue/ Rabbit Rescue. Make your appointment today by calling Silver Star pictures at 972-636-8760. Walk-ins will be accommodated as possible between appointments. And if you really want to be ahead on your Easter scrapping, take your photo and come to our Happy Hour at 11:00 the same day to make an Easter page to feature your bunny photo!

Hot New Service: Introducing…the Cricut Club!

Are you a Cricuteer? Do you go to "swarms" in your free time? Maybe you just have a Cricut and want to learn more about it. Or do you want to investigate a cartridge before buying it? If any of the above descriptions fit you, then this club is right up your alley! Beginning on April 3, 6:30-8 pm, Cricut instructor Linda Davis will host our new Cricut Club. Each month, the Cricut Club will meet on the first Thursday to check out the features of a specific cartridge, create a small Make-N-Take, discuss news on the Cricut front, and learn new tips for using your Cricut, Cricut Expression, and Cricut Design Studio. You don't have to own the featured cartridge to come, either! In fact this is a great chance to see if you want to add it to your collection or not! Cricut Club members will also get discounts on the featured cartridge each month as well as various special sales, advance notice of new cartridge arrival and more. And it's only $10 a month to participate, with a one-month membership in April. April's meeting will highlight the Doodlecharms cartridge, creating a birthday card for the Make-N-Take. Kids Calendar Class - We will be making a pocket calendar with an adorable customized cover. You can choose a boy or girl theme. Metal Memories - Turn a 12×12 blank canvas into a work of art. You'll use paint, paper, stamps and ribbon. You will also be introduced to metal embossing using the Ten Second Studio metals. Hot Crop Date: Help Care for Victims of Domestic Violence

The Scrapbook Pad is teaming up with the Community Enrichment Center to bring you an Open Arms Benefit Crop! Open Arms works tirelessly to care for and assist victims of domestic violence by working with community members to provide housing, job assistance, supplies, and more to these families torn apart by violence. The Open Arms benefit from 2 pm - midnight on Saturday April 19 provides an opportunity for us to reach out to local individuals and families in need of safety, protection, and a little help to get back on their feet!

Hot Tip: Faith Albums for Easter

In honor of Easter, consider celebrating your faith by creating a faith album. In any faith, as in life, spring is a time of renewal and rebirth, and a faith album can help you celebrate times in your life when you've felt those same feelings. Remember, scrapbooking isn't just a fun hobby; it's also a way to convey who you are to those that follow after you. Consider making a cute faith-inspired pocket or tag mini album to give to your children this Easter to remind them of the deeper reason for the holiday. Or make an inspirational book for yourself to use when you need a little encouragement.
