Signup for March Madness on Monday

Signups for the 2nd Annual March Madness scrapbooking competition begin at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 25th. Call in with your MasterCard or Visa number to grab your seat for a day of fun, laughter, and demonstrations of scrapbooking prowess! For $50, you will get:

• 12 hours of games and cropping
• Donuts and two meals
• Goodie bag
• Lots of door prizes
• Participation in lots of games and a chance to win the grand prize!

We have seating for 32 croppers, so sign up quick! And if the idea of a scrapbooking competition intimidates you, we will also be signing up three judges (first come, first serve) who will get a reduced price of $30 each. Our three impartial judges will receive a goodie bag and meals and will be able to crop when not judging a competition. However, anyone who becomes a judge will be seated separate from the contestants and will be ineligible for competition prizes and door prize drawings. So, whether you're signing up as a competitor or a judge, call in Monday night at 7:00 pm. 817-656-4905.

March Madness will take place on Saturday, March 15th 10:00 am - 10:00 pm. We ask that all participants be on time and prepared to play the games.

Easter Bunny Photos

We'll have more on this in our next newsletter, but let's just say that bunny wranglers will be bringing live Easter bunnies to the Scrapbook Pad on Saturday, March 22nd from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Get an appointment for your little one to take a photo with a soft and cuddly bunny by calling Silver Star pictures at 972-636-8760. Packages start at $25 for 1-5x7, 2-3.5x5, and 4 wallets of one pose.

Upcoming Classes

Table Scraps - If you haven't attended Terri Dunnewin's incredible recipe book class, you're missing out! The recipes and all the fixin's are included in this class and you will whip up at least five 5"x7" pages each month. Binder and page protectors for the recipes are available for an additional fee of $15.00 payable to the instructor which will hold 50 recipe pages. Kits with instructions and photo copies can be made available. But here's a little hint: if you attend the class, Terri frequently prepares one of the recipes you to sample! Saturday March 1st 2:00-4:00 pm $15.

Senior Graduation Book - Make a spectacular book for that special senior! You'll leave class with a fully embellished 8x8 book that is ready to have those graduation day pictures added to it! Plus, you'll bind your own book using the Zutter Bind-It-All system! Your book will be tailored to the school colors of your choice with matching embellishments. This will make a wonderful gift or a treasure to keep for yourself! Saturday March 8, 10:30 am - 2:30 pm, $30. Basic supplies, Tacky Tape, and Glue Dots required.

Please sign up for all classes at least 48 hours in advance. Payment is due on sign up.
