CHA Sneak Peak!

We're headed off to the CHA Winter showing this week, but a lot of companies have posted their new product online now, and boy, do we LOVE looking at it! Here's a short list of some of the items we'll be bringing in over the next six months:

• Basic Grey - Five new fabulous lines!
• Daisy D's - Sweet Baby Jane & Bambino lines with adorable baby papers, rubons, stickers, brads, metal frames, and stamp kits that include an alphabet stamp set with a case and a font CD! Perfect for scrapbookers, stampers, digi scrappers, and font-a-holics!
• Karen Foster - 13 new lines including water fun, various sports, holidays and more. And if you love their little state license plates at our front counter, just wait! Karen Foster is introducing new sport plates and scrap plates with themed words on them in the same versatile size as the state plates!
• Paper House - Expanding line of paper, stickers, and photo die-cuts, and new photo chipboard elements for major European destinations and some sports.
• Luxe - Several hot new lines including a color-based line with various traditional patterns (dots, stripes, flowers, etc) in the same color for perfectly coordinated pattern collections!
• Technique Tuesday - New stamps and tiles including a 12x12 chipboard piece with a postage stamp edge
• Reminisce - Graduation & Prom, Summer & Beach, Extended Relatives, Safari/ Zoo
• Cosmo Cricket - New lines and Blackboard! That's right black chipboard shapes and books!

Theme Crops Show Our Love

Variety is the spice of life, and our theme crops are a chance for us to shake the routine up a bit while giving you a little something extra. For example, at our Love Theme crop on Friday, February 15th 6 pm - 12 am, we're adding in some yummy Valentine's cake & lemonade along with a Make-n-Take to celebrate your love for something or someone. And the crop is still only $5.00! Our crops have been filling up fast, so sign up now to enjoy this extra treat and no extra cost!

2nd Annual March Madness

Last year, we hosted a huge event on our grand opening weekend, and this year, we're doing it again with our March Madness event! What is March Madness? Well... it's a college basketball competition- No! Not that March Madness! We're talking about the most awesome scrapbooking tournament ever! From supply scavenger hunts to price guessing and speed scrapping, this day is designed for good fun! Here are the details:

• Saturday March 15th 10 am - 10 pm
• $50 fee due on sign-up
• A goodie bag for each contestant
• Top winners will receive additional prizes.
• Donuts & 2 meals included
• Crop time between events
• All participants should expect to be on time and to participate in the games!
• Signups begin at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 25th

Featured CLASS

Do you have a member of the graduating senior class in your home this year? Is the class of '08 required to turn in a senior scrapbook? Or maybe you just need a jump start on a gift album for a graduate. Then this class is for you and your senior. In Scrap Your Senior, you will create five 12"x12" pages custom themed to your student's school and their colors. This class will be repeated with 15 different pages over three months. Sign up to attend the class or purchase a kit today. Some variation from project shown may occur as pages are customized to the individual person's public or private school. Sunday, February 10th 2 pm - 5 pm $30. Please sign up at least 48 hours in advance. Check out our website for other classes.

This Just in at the Pad!

• Daisy D's - New combinations of rubon stitches and borders
• Tim Holtz - Stamping Storage cases are finally here! If you haven't seen this innovative storage idea for acrylic stamp storage, stop in to take a look! The hard metal case is divided into two parts, with binder rings and plastic file sheets that the acrylic stamps adhere to and storage space for stamping blocks of all sizes.
• Making Memories - 5th Avenue Collection's lovely Sophia and Elizabeth lines feature flocked papers, glossy papers, die-cut papers, and cute, cute embellishment sets of paper flowers, felt flowers, and buttons in two different color combinations. Add brads, epoxy and traditional stickers to all of that and you've got a well-rounded line that's great by itself or in combination with other papers.
• Scenic Route - Check out Loveland, Scenic Route's new Valentine's line with chipboard alphabets, hearts, and arrows as well as project kits containing papers and embellishments. This contemporary collection is done in shades of red, pink and green.
• KI Memories - New 2008 Planner & Idea Book is a great addition to your purse or your library. With its hard black felt cover, it makes' a gorgeous planner, but the ideas inside make it a great addition to your idea book collection as well! Use it which ever way benefits you the most!
• Fancy Pants - We've got spring & girly papers, crocheted flowers and some old favorites!
