Since this is our very first newsletter I want to start out by saying welcome to The Scrapbook Pad! We are thrilled about our new store, which is located in Colleyville on the site of the old Scrapbook Warehouse.

We want to thank all of our regular customers that have stopped in to shop and crop over the last three years as well as all of our new ones! We can only hope that the warm welcome and hearty congratulations from all of you is a glimpse of all the success we will have in the future!

We want to tell you a little bit about ourselves. We are Bill and Jeanie Jones and we live right here in Colleyville. When the opportunity came around for us to buy this store we jumped on it!

I have been a scrapbooker for as long as I can remember, but I started scrapbooking the "safe" way about ten years ago. I have written classes, taught them, and taken tons myself! I have been published in several magazines and on a variety of websites, and have worked for both independent and chain scrapbook stores. I have been in the scrapbooking industry for a while now, so I am very familiar with all the manufacturers and the products they have to offer.

So what does this mean for you? It means we will be getting in all the latest and greatest products! I know there are different types of scrapbookers out there and I want to make sure to cater to them all, from the beginner to the most advanced.

My husband, Bill is experienced in the areas of business and finance, and will be helping out at The Scrapbook Pad in those areas.

We hope that with our individual strengths we bring the total package to The Scrapbook Pad and can't wait for our ideas and visions to become a reality! We really hope you'll love what we have in 'store' for you!

Here are just a few changes you will be seeing over the next couple of months:

The plan is to bring in inventory and get these shelves filled with product! We are currently trying to stock the important basics that we all use every day in our scrapbooking, but we can't wait for CHA at the end of January when we can really load the shelves with new and exciting merchandise!

We want to make The Scrapbook Pad your store. We couldn't be here without the loyal support of our customers and employees, so we are going to do everything we can to make them happy. If there is something we don't carry, but you want to see, just ask! We will do everything we can to try and get it for you!

Stop by The Scrapbook Pad and watch the transformation take place! We are so happy to be your new scrapbook store!

We definitely want to continue with all the familiar services and programs that you have grown to love at this location. We have inherited some of the most amazingly talented and enthusiastic employees and teachers I have ever had the privilege to work with. With the new direction and focus of the store we are going to be able to offer fun classes, clever make-n-takes, and of course, we will be continuing those five dollar Friday and Saturday night 6-midnight crops you have all grown to love!
